Cosplay Competition: INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COSPLAY

1. The participants must wear the costume upon registration.
2. The participants must have the following upon registration:
   
   1. Four (4) copies of full body picture of the character.
   2. Registration forms. The participant should fill-out four (4) copies of the registration form provided on or before the event. It will be submitted upon registration together with the full body picture of the character.
3. Group cosplayers are limited to fifteen (15) members only. Three (3) points will be deducted from the final score of the group for every excess members.
4. The registration will close at exactly 3:00pm. No late comers will be entertained.
5. The cosplayers are advised to remain in costume and mingle with the general audience for the whole duration of the event for the Audience Choice Award. (Cosplayers may vote for themselves as well.) There will be a voting station for the people present during the event to cast their votes on their favored cosplayer. Only one vote is allowed per person.
6. The cosplayers will be judged during the Cosplay Catwalk from which the top three of the individual cosplay division and the first place of the group cosplay division will be decided.
7. Individual cosplayers are given three (3) minutes stage time. Group cosplayers are given six (6) minutes stage time to perform their skit. Failure to comply with the time limit will result to the disqualification of the cosplayer or the group from the competition.
8. The winner of the Cosplay competition (excluding Audience Choice) will be decided by the judges in terms of these criteria:
   1. Characterization - the truthful depiction of the Cosplay to the character’s over-all personality
   2. Costume - the closeness of the costume worn by the Cosplay to the costume of the character being cosplayed. Also, how the materials used for the costume making aid in the over-all appearance of the costume.
   3. Creativity - the innovativeness in terms of the whole Cosplay proper.

Criteria Breakdown

Individual Cosplay:
Characterization=35%
Costume Accuracy=35%
Creativity/Craftsmanship=30%

Group Cosplay:
Characterization/Group Dynamics=35%
Costume Accuracy=30%
Creativity/Craftsmanship=25%
Performance/Skit=10%

Prizes:

Individual:
1st = 2,000 Php + goodies
2nd = 1,500 Php + goodies
3rd = 1,000 Php + goodies
Audience Choice = 500 Php + goodies

Group:
1st = 5,000 Php
Audience Choice = 2000 Php + goodies

Rules:

1. Do NOT leave your belongings inside the Consunji Room unattented. UP AME will not be held accountable for lost items left in the Consunji Room.
2. The Consunji Room will close at exactly 4:00pm. Cosplayers are to vacate the lounge and deposit their belongings in the baggage counter located near the front entrance.
3. Cosplayers are allowed only one person to assist them inside the dressing room. Maximum of two assistants for group cosplayers are allowed.
4. Always wear your number tags. Be reminded that UP AME will not provide a replacement for lost number tags.
5. Cosplayers are only allowed to use the ground floor washroom.

*Points will be deducted from the cosplayer’s total score if they do not follow the rules.
