Synopsis:
Not long after he had entered high school, Sakai Yuji’s normal days were finished. He saw something strange on his way home; people were frozen in fire, and a monster looking like a large doll assaulted them. When he was about to be killed, a girl in black cloth holding a large sword appeared, and cut the monster into halves. Although Yuji pulled though the crisis, the girl informed him of a hopeless fact.

`You don't "exist" anymore'

She called herself Flame haze who hunts “Guze no Tomogara”, intruders from another world. She explained to him that he was a "torch”, a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” had already been eaten. She also told him that he was a special torch, “Mystis”, which has a precious item in it. When he looked at his chest, he saw a faint flame like she said.

In this way, his eternal fight alongside the girl he named Shana began.

Well...a friend of mine introduced me to this by showing me a picture of the main character. I was intrigued, so I got it along with Fate / stay night. Now I'm hooked on Shana *points to sig* @_@ Anyone else tried watching this? IT's got 15 eps. so far...out of 26. Now I can't wait for the next ep. (for one, it's more fast paced than Fate/ Stay Night as of now) O_O And from what I've heard, the manga is still ongoing...from the way things are going, I'm already hoping for a season 2 XD XD

It's okay for me, another one in my watchlist. But I'm still waiting for the last episode to be released before I watch all of it. Mas masarap kasi mag-marathon. ^^

Though I have to disagree on the F/S N comment. Shana already has 15 eps out, F/S N only has 3, plus it follows the storyline of the game. Mas angat sakin ang F/S N.

Well, yeah, I usually prefer to marathon them...Sinubukan ko lang panoorin yung ep.1 ng Shana, di ko inasahan na ma-hook ako nito. O_O;

As for F/ SN , di mo rin pwede ma-deny na medyo slow pa sya sa ngayon...Mdyo na dismaya nga ako ng onti nung mapanood ko ep. 1 e... Yung tipong first day ng first release kinuha ko na (nasa net cafe pa nga ako). hopefully, pi-pick up na sya sa mga susunod na eps. Sayang nga lang at Unlimited Blades and susundin, intead na FATE. Oh well.

I like season 2 very much mostly due to the fact the Yuji improved somewhat is no longer a DID (Dude In Distress) too much

Sa mga dependent sa local TV for anime (tulad ko), pinapalabas na ang "Shakugan no Shana" sa TV5 (formerly ABC 5), weekdays at 6:00 PM. Tagalog dub siya, of course.

Pinanood ko ang first ep nito kahapon, at nakakahook ang storya. Mapipilitan akong umuwi ng maaga (Millionaires' Club naman na ako). Hehe. (TV5, sana hanggang season 2 na 'yan!)

Regarding that case, I do hope that they'll continue. Sana hindi lang ito ningas kugon. And at least hindi lang yung nakakasawang pagmumukha ni Voltes V ska ni Naruto ang nakikita ko sa TV.

Glad na meron na ring naho-hook sa SnS sa TV5.

Kasali ako sa isa pang forums that supports the Tagalog dubbing industry, and since the announcement of the channel 5 reformat, tumututok na talaga kami kung anu-anong mga anime ang pwede nitong i-offer kung sakali. Nung nalaman namin na ipapalabas nila ang "Shakugan no Shana" at "The Wallflower", we were all like, "OMFG THOSE ARE BIG TITLES WILL WATCH", or something to that effect.

Nagulat din kami na EPIC WIN ang dubbing nila ng SnS at TW, since it has been 2 years sisne huli silang nagpalabas ng anime ("Cyborg Kuro-chan" at "Mon Colle Knights"), kaya nag-aalala kami na baka start-from-scratch ang dubbing nila. But yes folks, epic win ang dubbing (at least in our opinion).

Medyo na-shcok ako sa episode 4 (or 3?) ng SnS. There were actual pantyshots of Shana habang nagbibihis siya. AT PINALABAS SIYA NG TV5. Grabe, maluwag na pala ngayon ang MTRCB. Or are they?
