Yamane Ayano Works. Favorite mangaka ko 'yan. CJ Michalski, Ike Reibun, Shin Mizukami, Yuzuha Ougi, Kodaka Kazuma. I-try 'nyo sila. Ang gagaling din. Mag-register kayo sa forum ng evil-empire. D'yan sila magaling.

At 'yung kakarecommend lang sa 'kin ni ate airis na love/xxx pistols.

Is that you Za~?!! You remembered what I pimped. XDDD

I recommend anything by Tarako Kotobuki. The art isn't very pretty but guh! the story and the plot is amazing.

it's not about the xxx, at least for me.

Personally, hindi ako nagbabasa ng kahit ano na walang storya, so I think it says a lot. I'm an avid yaoi fan, hindi ko sila binabasa dahil sa and I quote "men [starts] shooting semen at each other like kids playing with their freak-of-nature "toy guns"."

There are a LOT of great, amazing, heart-breaking stories out there which features a guy/guy relationship. Maraming complex stories with complex characters and complex relationships.

Sumomo Yumeka for epic heartbreak. :3 Whatever she makes, it goes beyond all that is beautiful and awesome in my heart~ *O* These are works I loved after too much yaoi and yaoi and... uh, yaoi. Or maybe I'm just naturally sappy, and I go after stuff that make me cry. hururu~ ;__;

lolwat 'dreamy feeling'. XDD

ANYWAY. I still pimp SHIMIZU YUKI's LOVE MODE to the entire yaoi-loving population. It's a must-read, seriously. Also check out her other works, they are amazing and wonderful and full of love and win. There's Recipe and -ZE- (which is still ongoing but is totally awesome)

If there's a manga that can make me cry even after reading it for the nth time, it's Love Mode. :|

Also, any work by Kazuma Kodaka is <3. I recommend Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki for starters. Or KIZUNA, because it's epic and pretty and all sorts of awesome. It's not finished yet though.

if you guys want deep, complex stories/characters/relationships, there're a number of Sadahiro Mika works to choose from. UGH is my undying favorite from the list. =o=

Anyway, um. I don't want to fill this place up with all the titles I'd recommend because I won't be able to finish. XD

uhm... I haven't read yaoi in a while (primarily because I don't download yaoi on my own, my uberly-yaoi-fangirl friends just give me copies from their collections)... anyway, try Little Butterfly... it's sweet and romantic, and the plot's really good... I'll try posting a synopsis here later... (i'm just slacking off reviewing for an exam right now) hehehehe... ^^

hahaha, that's what i look for in sumomo yumeka. her art style helps - napaka delicate, ang pino ng lines. maganda ang 'tenguzin/tengujin' and most of her one-shots.

guys, please check out SILVER DIAMOND by shiho sugiura (mangaka of ice-cold demon's tale, or koori no mamono no monogatari). shounen-ai lang, hindi ito hardcore, and i doubt it will ever be - pero ang saya. endearing cast of characters, alternate worlds, fantasy creatures, adventure, comedy, etc. i fail at describing, so please see for yourselves.

also, the creator of skip beat! made a BL manga. "BLUE WARS" is unique and full of lulz.

sa mga nagkagusto sa junjou romantica ni shungiku nakamura, please try her less-famous stuff. it's all good, i recommend "MANGETSU MONOGATARI" and "HYBRID CHILD." maraming umiyak sa hybrid child. ang mangetsu naman ay nakakatuwa, with serious moments.

eiki eiki and zaou taishi are good with comedy. marami silang ginawa, including "COLOR" and "DEAR MYSELF" at doujin. (lol, death note and keroro doujin ftw) trythe shoujo stuff too, like "princess princess" [strike]it is gay. i don't care what people say, puripuri is GAY. and so is mikoto.[/strike]

anyway... that's it for now? XD

depende sa interests mo. Are you in for light-hearted stories? Comedy, fluff, romance, angst, fantasy, etc. Is there any specific art style that you like/despise O:?
Yaoi na ba agad ang gusto mo or do you want to try shounen-ai before delving into yaoi? Are you alright with the explicit scenes, etc?

I'd like you to be specific since there's always a title for everyone out there. Depende lang sa kung ano yung magugustuhan ng tao.

Syempre if I'm going to recommend, I'd like to include in the list what I know you'd like. I think it's also a good way to get to know you? XD

Nakow, kausapin mo ako sa tambayan and I can give you a list right then and there.

lolwat. "Color" and "Dear Myself" aren't exactly comedies. :| Although I'd have to agree that the two authors are good with that genre.

GAIZ. NAONO BOHRA works. 'Nuff said.
Also, Ike Reibun and Yamakami Riyu. And those authored by Satoru Kannagi or Akizuki Koh (I really don't care who the artist is, the stories are always so awesome).
